What is Prose?
Prose is any writing that is written in sentences, without poetic meter, and reflects ordinary speech. Whether it be a concert review or a newspaper article about nosy neighbours or a literary essay about Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, it is all considered prose. Prose teaches us about the world and ourselves.
